Eric Nally is a singer and songwriter best known for fronting the popular band Foxy Shazam. He gained further recognition when featured in the Downtown song by Macklemore and Ryan Lewis. Later the band member changed its name from Thought of Train to Foxy Shazam in 2004. In June 2005, the band released their independent debut album Flamingo Trigger. Nally and the band member went to a tour all across the country to promote the debut album.
Following the tour, the band signed a contract with a record company Ferret Music. In January 2008, the band released their second album Introducing Foxy Shazam under the record company. They released their third album titled Foxy Shazam in April 2010.
Through the band, Nally went on different tours from time to time. Foxy Shazam was named the spotlight band for the 2011's Wrapped Tour.
Then after the band signed the contract with an I.R.S. record label. Foxy Sazam released their fourth album The Church of Rock and Roll in January 2012. The album included songs like I Like It, Holy Touch, and others.
In April 2014, the band released their 5th album Gonzo. The album is band's second self-released after The Flamingo Trigger. The album included singles like Tragic Thrill. The Foxy Shazam consisted of band members Loren Daniel Turner, Daisy Caplan, Schuyler Vaughn White, Aaron McVeigh, and Alex Nauth.
Apart from his involvement with the band Foxy Shazam, Nally wrote songs for the singer Meat Loaf's 11th album Hang Cool, Teddy Bear. In 2015, he was featured on the Macklemore & Ryan Lewis' single Downtown.
