Eoin Macken
Eoin Christopher Macken is an Irish film maker/ actor, model as well as a writer who was born on the 21st of February, 1983 and is currently 33 years of age. He was born as the second of five children to a middle cla s s family, and after losing his father in a very young age, had a pretty hard childhood. He along with his siblings and mother worked in farm while his eldest brother managed a grocery store in a small town nearby Dublin. He studied at the local school where he practiced dancing and also a little bit of acting.
After he graduated from there, he applied for a modeling agency and was selected as their model. He also took his next step and studied acting at University College Dublin where he also got chance to work on his modeling. He participated in the 2002 as well as 2003 Fashion Show, and was immediately signed by another modeling company named Morgan the Agency. From there, he got a big break as he was chosen to be the face of the Abercrombie and Fitch campaign in 2003. He also studied at the UCD drama society, where he started to get some major roles. With modeling already making him famous, he now started to prove his worth in acting. Born and raised as a Christian, Eoin follows the same religion He is an Irish by nationality and belongs to white ethnicity.
With his first major film role in Studs (2005),he started to get role sin some Indie films aroud that time like in Rise of the Bricks and Triple Bill after which he moved to the United States of America, and began exploring his opportunities in Los Angeles. He had already completed his education by then, and also has a degree in Psychology. After taking a gap in his acting career, he returned with a role in a daily soap program called Fair City. HE also took time and started writing; his first work being a feature film named Christian Blake, which was premiered in 2008. He also was he co-writer of the song named "Don't Leave Me Alone" by artist Una Healy. He was also working in his script for the second feature film named Dreaming For You where he directed as well as acted himself. The act received a wide support and was even selected for the Los Angeles Short Film Festival (2007) and Galway Film Fleadh (2009)
Regarding his TV career, he played as an American soldier in BBC’s TV drama named Small Island, which began in 2009. The same year, he appeared in RTE’s show RAW and also was seen in a notable role in Through The Night. He had also worked and studied on the Irish Fashion Industry and in 2009 released a one hour long doc u mentary on the subject, which was titled as The Fashion of Modeling.
Regarding his personal life, he has been in a couple of relationships till date and it is known to the media. He was in a relationship with Una Healey. The couple, who commenced dating from 2006 were together for a couple of years, before breaking up in 2008. Then again in 2010, he was shortly involved in a romantic relationship with Kellie Blaise but just for a year. As of now, his relationship status is not known.
