Duane Martin is an American film and television actor best known for playing the role of Willie in White Men Can't Jump, Jr. Philips in The Inkwell, Kyle Lee Watson in Above the Rim and Robert James in All of Us.

He was previously married to 'My Wife and Kids' star Tisha Campbell-Martin with who she shares two sons Ezekiel Martin and Xen Martin.

Duane Martin was born on August 11, 1965, in Brooklyn, New York, the United States of America. He is the only child of his parents.

He is the son-in-law of Clifton Campbell, who was a factory worker and singer and Mona Campbell, who was a nurse, vocal coach, gospel singer and talent manager.

Additionally, he is the brother-in-law of Jermaine Campbell and Tiara Campbell. Martin is of American nationality and belongs to Afro-American ethnicity.

He completed his graduation from New York University. While in the university, he played NCAA Division III basketball.

Film and Television Career

Duane Martin made his television debut in the popular NBC comedy series, Out All Night, alongside Patti LaBelle, Morris Chestnut and Vivica A. Fox. He appeared in 20 episodes of the series from 1992 to 1993.

Prior to his appearance in Out All Night, he had played minor roles in Moe's World (1990), Against the Law (1991), Roc (1992) and CBS Schoolbreak Special (1992).

In 1994, Martin was featured in a music video "I'll Make Love to You" by the Boyz II Men. In 1998, he was a cast along with Jon Cryer and Vivica in the Fox television sitcom, Getting Personal.

He played the role of a TV reporter, Robert James, in 88 episodes of the UPN and The CW television sitcom, All of Us, from 2003 to 2007. His other television appearances include Rita Rocks (2009) and The Paul Reiser Show (2011).

His film credits include The Seat Filler (2004), Above the Rim (1994), The Inkwell (1994) and White Men Can't Jump (1992).
