Denver Broncos Freed T.J Ward After Three Years, Reported to Sign with Buccaneers

by Joey Jordan,

The American football safety T.J (Terrell Ray) Ward is now a free agent. The Denver Broncos has announced that they are releasing Ward after three seasons with the team.

The team president of football operations and general manager John Elway said it would be quite difficult for the team to be apart with T.J. after three years of his contribution to the team. He released the statement after the team decided to make him free which reads:

This was a difficult decision to part ways with T.J. after everything he’s done for our football team. He was a respected teammate whose attitude and physical mindset played a big part in our success, especially during our Super Bowl run. We thank T.J. for his contributions as a Bronco and wish him nothing but the best in the future.

After being released, now, T.J. Ward is expected to sign with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, NFL reported. Prior, Ward played his first four seasons with the Cleveland Browns.
