Death Tolls Crosses 30 As Palestine-Israel War Comes To A Truce

One of the worst battle between Israel and Gaza in the last five years have killed over 30 people. Where Palestinian rocket and missile attacks killed four Israeli civilians, the death toll for Palestinians nearly touched 30 on Sunday.

The Washington Post reported Hamas militants launched over 600 rockets on Sunday and Israel responded with airstrikes on more than 300 targets.

The Israeli army announced that all the restrictions for residents

Officials said the Israeli victims included a 12-year-old boy, a 4-month-old girl, and a pregnant woman. On the other hand, Palestinian victims included two pregnant women and two infants.

After a chaotic day and night, an Egyptian-mediated cease-fire agreement began Monday at 4:30 A.M. At 7 on Monday morning, the Israeli army announced that all the restrictions for residents of the south were lifted. Israeli Education Ministry followed the announcement and said schools would open as usual from Monday.

The leader of Hamas told his group "interested in a new war"

Meanwhile, the leader of Hamas told his group was not "interested in a new war" with Israel after two days of heavy double firing.

Israel and Hamas have been involved in a couple of wars since the militant Islamic group took power in Gaza in 2007 and Israel imposed a land, air, and sea blockade of the territory and approximately 2 million residents.
