English-American actor and dancer David Winters, who was born on April 5, 1939, has died on April 23 at the age of 80, shortly after celebrating his 80th birthday. David died in Fort Lauderdale, Fla.

His brother, Marc, revealed that the reason behind his death was congestive heart failure.

David started his professional career in 1954. One of the famous and notable David’s choreography work was the movie Viva Las Vegas starring Elvis Presley and Ann-Margret.

He had worked as a choreographer on the 1960s musical television shows like Shindig! And Hullabaloo.

 David started his Broadway debut with On Your Toes in 1994. Besides his notable appearance in West Side Story, he had also acted in Broadway plays like Sandhog, Gypsy, One More River, and Shinbone.

Following his appearance of Baby John in the stage production of West Side Story, he appeared on the role of another Jet, A-Rab in the movie version of the show.

David acted in many television series like The United States Steel Hour, Naked City, Burke’s Law, Love on a Rooftop, Teddy Beer, Blackbeard, and so on.

Likewise, he had directed and produced movies like Once Upon a Wheel, Thrashin’, Space Mutiny, The Last Horror Film, The King Maker, The Final Sanction, Future Force, and so on.
