Davey Havok is an American singer and musician mainly known as the lead singer of punk rock band AFI; the band is widely noted for their songs such as Girls Not Grey, Miss Murder, and Medicate. Besides, the 46 years old singer is an outspoken advocate of the straight edge lifestyle and veganism. 

Details On His Age and Early Life

Davey Havok's real name is David Paden Marchand. He was born on November 20, 1975, in Rochester, New York, the US. So, his age is 46 years now; he holds an American nationality and belongs to Italian ancestry. Besides, Marchand was raised by his parents, Paul Marchand and Penny Marchand

Sadly, his father pa s sed away when Marchand was just five years old. So, together with his mother, he moved to Sacramento, California, to be closer to their family. After that, his mother remarried Havok took the surname of his stepfather. And in the late 1980s, the family moved to Ukiah, California.

In 1993, Havok graduated from Ukiah High School. Following year, he attended the University of California, Berkeley, an English and Psychology double major. Following Hovak's soph 0re year, his career with AFI went off, and Havok did not return to the university.

Havok began a band in high school even though none of the members held or could play instruments, transitioning into low-budget punk recordings. That band became AFI, but they when its members left for college. After some time, he started writing lyrics that would later appear on AFI's first two albums.

After gaining some vogue in their absence, AFI played a reunion show at the Phoenix Theater for hundreds of fans. Following the positive fete, they chose to reunite and record an album. And in 1995, their first album, Album That and Stay Fashionable, was released.

Later, the band released various albums, including Decemberunderground, Burials, Etc. On August 14, 2007, Havok's electronic side project with AFI guitarist Jade Puget, Blaqk Audio, released its first album, CexCells. 

And in 2016, it was revealed that Havok formed a new band with No Doubt members. And their debut single, Kill for Candy, was released on March 2, 2017. Apart from music, Havok has also made a few television appearances, including in Mary Jane's Not a Virgin Anymore, Godkiller, and Knife Fight

The AFI lead singer is currently single and does not have a wife or a girlfriend. But he was previously linked with Brittany Bowen, an American model. According to some online sites, they dated each other for some time. However, the actual date of their dating and separation is unknown.

According to Hollywood Mask, Havok was previously engaged to Monica Parker. The same report shows they were together for around one year in 2001. On the other hand, he was also linked with Ivy Levan. Despite all the rumors, Havok hasn't talked anything about it, keeping it a mystery.
