Dana Vulin, Burnt Alive, Shares Her Painful Experience On Recovering From The Worst Condition

by Joey Jordan,

Dana Vulin, an Australian woman was burnt alive by a wife in a doubt she slept with her estranged husband in Perth. Almost 60 percent of her body was burnt in the heartbreaking felony in 2012, and she says the year spent in recovery was more painful than the initial injuries.

She shared the painful process she went through during the healing with The Project which also includes sleeping on a crucifix and going through multiple skin grafts.

She said, “I slept sitting on a crucifix for two half years, with wrist splints, arm splints, elbow splints, palm splints, a mouth brace, a neck brace.”

Vulin shared she had to go through the painful physio sessions up to three times a day in regaining her ability to move.

Doctors tried to gain her natural beauty back for which they used the undamaged skin to graft in the damaged parts.

She said. “They’ve taken my right leg for skin four and a half full times, my left leg four times. My groin is my neck, my hips, and armpit and they shaved my entire skull to graft my entire face.”

After an untiring effort from the doctors, she has regained her natural beauty and, the good news is she can still smile with ease.

She has recently written a book entitled Dana Vulin: Worth Fighting For sharing her experiences and painful journey on recovery.
