Damaris Lennon Phillips is an American chief who won the ninth season of the Food Network television series Food Network Star. She also earned her own show on the Food Network called Southern at Heart. As of now, Damaris is working as a co-host of Food Network's The Bobby and Damaris Show sharing the credit with Bobby Flay.

Born In Kentucky, Morgan Has Five Siblings 

Damaris Lennon Phillips was born on December 8, 1980, in Fayette County, Kentucky, United States of America. She is the daughter of Mary Phillips (mother) and Maurice Phillips Jr. (father). She has four brothers and a sister named Morgan Phillips.

Lennon spent the majority of her childhood in Louisville, Kentucky. She belongs to American nationality, and her ethnicity is white.

Damaris Lennon received a degree in Culinary Arts from Jefferson Community and Technical College. She stated she decided to move to culinary school because she didn't know what to do in life. After that, Phillips moved on to become a culinary Instructor.

Professional Career

Damaris Phillips became a competitor in the ninth season of the Food Networks series Food Network Star in early 2013. During that time, she reached the top three and at last became one of the final three competitors. She also filmed a pilot for a potential series titled Eat, Date, Love. Damaris was made public as the winner of the competition on August 11, 2013.

Damaris Phillips also operated her own show on Food Network Southern at Heart, which premiered on October 27, 2013. The show first aired on Sunday at 10:30 am/9:30c and the final season premiered on October 4, 2015. 

After that, Damaris Phillips's further plan is to open a bed and breakfast, which would offer food-centered vacations with cooking cla s ses and trips to farmers' markets. 

Damaris was also invited by FNS judge Alton Brown onto his podcast today for a lengthy interview. She currently hosts The Bobby and Damaris Show on Food Network. Furthermore, Phillips along with Rutledge Wood co-hosts Southern and Hungry on Cooking Channel.
