Crystal Bernard, 59, is an actress and musician best known for her role in the 1990s' sitcom Wings. Bernard began her career as a television star as well as a stage actor in early 1990 and appeared in films like Young Doctors in Love, Slumber Party Ma s sacre 2, and more. She appeared in numerous films and TV series throughout her career. Her last movie Grave Misconduct came out in 2008. Bernard also released several singles and two albums entitled Girl Next Door and Don't Touch Me There. She also recorded few gospel songs on her father’s project.

Life About Of Crystal Bernard

Crystal Lynn Bernard was born on September 30, 1961, in Garland, Texas to Dr. Jerry Wayne Bernard and Gaylon Fussell. She is American as per her nationality and has white ethnic descent. 

Bernard was raised in a Southern Baptist home alongside her siblings Angelique Bernard, Scarlett Bernard, and Robyn Bernard. Her father was involved in televangelism and traveled across the United States preaching and singing.

Bernard attended Spring High School in Spring, Texas. After graduation, she joined Baylor University, where she studied acting and international relations.

During her time in college, she briefly dated Richard Wayne Kennedy. Bernard also studied acting at Alley Theatre while growing up in Houston, Texas.

Bernard made her debut appearance on television in an episode called “Hot Muffins” as Kelly in Gimme a Break! in 1982. In the same year, she appeared in the tenth season of the sitcom Happy Days, playing 'K.C. Cunningham' in 16 episodes.

She then made various guest appearances on several other shows, before joining the cast of the resurrected, syndicated version of the sitcom It’s a Living, where she played the role of waitress Amy Tompkins. She appeared in the show from 1985 to 1989 alongside Barrie Youngfellow, Ann Jillian, Gail Edwards, and Louise La s ser. 

In 1990, Crystal joined the cast of the NBC sitcom Wings and portrayed Helen Chappel Hackett in the show's entire seven-year duration. The show stars Tim Daly, Steven Weber, David Schramm, and Thomas Haden Church.

In 2003, she also made a guest appearance on the sitcom According to Jim. Her later television credits are Single Santa Seeks Mrs. Claus, Meet the Santas, and Grave Misconduct. 

Besides her significant roles in television, Bernard has also played in several films. In 1982, she appeared in the movie Young Doctors in Love as Julie. Then, she appeared in Slumber Party Ma s sacre II, Gideon, Jackpot and Welcome to Paradise.

Since the end of Wings, she has also appeared in three-stage productions: a Los Angeles production of Crimes of the Heart in 1999, a Marquis Theatre revival of Annie Get Your Gun in 2001 and the West Coast premiere of Barbra's Wedding at Falcon Theatre in Burbank, California in 2005.

Apart from acting, Bernard also pursued a career as a singer/songwriter. She released two albums: Girl Next Door in 1996 and Don't Touch Me There in 1999, both under the River North Label.

In 1996, she also sang "(I Wanna Take) Forever Tonight" (with Peter Cetera)". She has released three music videos to date: "Have We Forgotten What Love Is" in 1996, "State of Mind" in 1997 and "Hey" in 1999, all three of which were directed by Steven R. Monroe.
