English actor and director Andrew Hall, who was widely known for appearing on Coronation Street and Butterflies, has died at the age of 65. He died on Monday, May 20, after a short illness.

Andrew’s management InterTalent which has handled his professional career since 2014, released a statement on Twitter and confirmed his death news. The statement read:

'It is with deep sadness that we announce the pa s sing of our client & friend Andrew Hall who sadly pa s sed away on Monday after a short illness. 

His agent Alex Segal claimed that his most recent television job was in Syfy series named Blood Drive. The statement furthermore added that Andrew was loved at InterTalent Rights Group where he had been a client in actors division since 2014.

Andrew was most notably known for appearing in Butterflies, Blood Drive, and Coronation Street. He was widely known for his role as Russell Parkinson in Butterflies from 1978 to 1983.

Besides this, he has played in many movies and television programs like The Truth About Love, Gabriel Ernest, Holloyaks, Two Point Four Children, and Holby City.
