Synopsis

Conan O’Brien is an American TV host as well as TV producer. He is one of the popular TV hosts who has hosted various late-night talk shows including The Tonight Show with Conan O’Brien and Late Night with Conan O’Brien.

O’Brien has also hosted numerous events such as Christmas in Washington, Emmy Awards and did a 32-city live comedy tour.

O’Brien is married to Liza Powel with whom he has two children, Neve and Beckett which completes his happy family.  

Early life and education

Conan O’Brien was born as Conan Christopher O’Brien on 18th April 1963 in Brookline, Ma s sachusetts, United States of America. He belongs to white-American ethnicity and holds an American nationality. He is Irish Catholic descent.

O’Brien is born to Thomas Francis O'Brien and Ruth O'Brien. His mother is an attorney and partner of the Boston firm Ropes & Gray where as his father is a physician, epidemiologist, as well as professor of medicine at the Harvard Medical School.

O’Brien has five siblings, Luke O'Brien, Neal O'Brien, Kate O'Brien, Jane O'Brien, and Justin O'Brien.

O’Brien went to Brookline High School where he worked as the managing editor of the school's newspaper, The Sagamore.

O’Brien‘s did his intern from the Congressman Robert Drinan. When he was in senior year, O’Brien won the National Council of Teachers in English writing contest with a short story, To Bury the Living.

Later, O’Brien attended the Harvard University and earned a degree in history and literature as well in 1985. During the time in Harvard University, O’Brien played as the drummer in a band, The Bad Clams, and also as a writer for the Harvard Lampoon humor magazine.

Career

Conan O’Brien began his career as a writer of HBO’s, Not Necessarily the News and for short-lived The Wilton North Report where O’Brien worked for two years.

In 1991, O’Brien and Robert Smigel wrote the television pilot of Lookwell which was broadcasted on NBC and starred Ron Frazier, Adam West, Todd Field and many others. 

Moreover, O’Brien has voiced in the films including The Lego Batman Movie, Batman: The Dark Knight Return Part 2, Queen Duck: the movie.  He also made his appearance in movies, The Secret Life of Walter Mitty, Now You See Me, Tomorrow Night, Storytelling and so on.  

Personal life

Conan O’Brien married to his love, Liza Powel on 12th January 2002.The pair first met while Conan appeared in a 2000 skit on his show. Eventually, they began dating.

 O’Brien and Liza were engaged in July 2001 and the next years of 12th January, they got married in Seattle, Washington. And their marriage reception was at the Union Station in Seattle, United States. 

The couple blessed with two children, a daughter Neve O'Brien born in 2003 and a son Beckett O'Brien born in 2005.
