Colton Dixon's Wife Annie Coggeshall is Pregnant; Expecting First Child

Baby on the way! Colton Dixon and his wife Annie Coggeshall are expecting their first child, together, one of his representatives confirmed.

Confirming the Miracles singer's pregnancy, the former American Idol contestant, 28, said, "Becoming a dad is something I’ve always looked forward to."

He added,

Whether seeing other kids with their parents or reminiscing on the times I had with my own when I was young, these are moments to be cherished. Annie and I are ecstatic about this exciting new chapter! We are also relieved that this is no longer a secret.

His wife then told PEOPLE that the newest addition of the family "is truly a dream come true."

The couple, who became engaged at Disney World, exchanged vows in a beautiful ceremony in Nashville, Tennessee, in January 2016. The wedding was attended by more than 160 guests including his fellow American Idol contestant Steven Curtis Chapman.

The husband-wife duo just celebrated their wedding anniversary last month. Colton is a Christian music artist who placed seventh on American Idol season 11.

His uncle is a pianist and his sister Schyler Dixon had also auditioned for American Idol.
