CNN Philippines Broadcaster, Amelyn Veloso Passes Away at 43

The 43 years old Philippines news anchor, Amelyn Veloso pa s sed away on Thursday.

According to the official bulletin released, the home network expressed their sorrow on Veloso's death.

 

They were quoted saying that Veloso was battling liver cancer for three years. Her husband Rodney along with her mother and 14 years old child is in grief.

One of the senates, Richard Gordon expressed his condolences on the social network. He along with Veloso was the co host on TV5 for ‘Aksyon Solusyon.’

 

Gordon took on twitter and in series of posts he said:

The TV and radio industry has lost one of its most amiable & professional hosts. Kate and I send our heartfelt condolences to the family of Amelyn. I’m heartbroken over the loss of a great, gentle and lovely creature of God, Amelyn Veloso. Not just a TV professional but a kind-hearted person.

 

He also related, “Last night, I had to step out of her room, to sum up, the courage to face her. When I went it, I saw a brave soul ready to be with our Creator.”
