Clueless Actress, Stacey Dash to Run For Congress in California 44th District

The American actress and talk show host, Stacey Dash, is all set to run for Congress in California.

 As reported by CNN, the conservative political commentator and republican, Stacey Dash, filed paperwork on Monday to run in California's 44th district that includes Compton, Watts, San Pedro and north Long Beach.

Since 2012, the district has been represented by democratic representatives and Democrat Nanette Barragan is currently serving the district. In the 2016 presidential election, Hillary Clinton received overwhelming votes from the district.

On February 10, Dash who has not confirmed her run for Congress with any formal statement stated the run on social media. She took to Twitter and openly asked her online fans and supporters to suggest her she should run for the political office or not.

In 1982, StaceyDashh made her first television appearance in the NBC crime drama Farrell: for the people alongside Valerie harper. In 1995, Dash appeared on the teen comedy ‘clueless’ which was a big hit of the year. By 2014, she joined fox news as a contributor and served the network until 2017. She is an admirer of president donald trump and she has been an outspoken backer of donal trump as well.
