Chicken Factory Worker, Elisio Ximenes Scoops £58,000 on Lottery With £2.70 Bet.

  • The 33 years old, Elisio Ximenes used to work at the Two Sisters food plant in Scunthorpe at the night shift.
  • After winning the bumper, he left the job and moved back to his home town to start his own restaurant business.
  • In the Betfred's lotto, he selected five numbers which were based on his ID number at work.

Elisio Ximenes, 33, who used to work at the Two Sisters food plant in Scunthorpe at the night shift, has won £58,000 against £2.70 bet on the lottery.

The person who became rich overnight left the job and is now planning to return back to his hometown and start his own restaurant business.

He is also planning to take his wife and two children on a luxury holiday to Bali to whom he has not seen for around five years.

Ximenes who selected the five numbers in Betfred's 49's lotto based on his ID number at work went on to appear in the draw.

After the win, while giving an interview to the 'The Grimsby Telegraph' he said, 

'I moved from East Timor five years ago and have not seen my wife Jovita and my boys who are 13 and seven. When I rang her to tell her everything had changed for just £2.70 she, like me, just can't believe it - and said that God must be looking down kindly on our family.

He also added,

She is a good cook making traditional food and now we can set up in the restaurant business in my country; but first all the family will be going on a holiday to Bali which is a beautiful place I have always wanted to visit.

The 33 years old is a Catholic who goes to Ma s s every week and used to send almost £1,200-a-month to his family. 

Following the win, he has been celebrating and will also fly back home soon enough.
