Cardi B is going long in her Strip Club Bartender Brawl case after she refused the plea deal. Cardi B appeared the court in New York on Friday morning.
People reported the rapper arrived at Queens Criminal Court Friday morning dressed in all white and surrounded by security guards who carried umbrellas to protect from the rain.
Multiple outlets confirmed the 26-year-old rapper rejected the plea deal which would have called her to plead guilty to the third-degree misdemeanor a s sault.
If the plea deal was made, the case would have been dismissed and the rapper would be freed from any sentence. But, as per the sources, the case will now be going to trial after her rejection. Cardi B's next hearing is set for May 31st.
Last August, the Angel's Strip Club claimed Cardi ordered an attack on the bartenders Baddie Gi and Jade because she believed her husband Offset had an affair with one of them.
NYPD spokesperson told CNN at that time that Cardi allegedly threw chairs, hookahs, and bottles in the club at 3 in the morning. Furthermore, NBC New York reported Cardi B was caught on camera tossing an ice bucket at the women.
In October, Cardi B surrendered to police and she was subsequently arrested and charged with one count of a s sault and two counts of reckless endangerment.
