American country pop singer-writer Brett Young and wife Taylor Mills are all over surrounded with happiness as the pair is all set to welcome their first child together.

Just within less than four months after joking how ready he was to have children with his new wife Taylor, the singer announced that they are expecting their first child in early fall.

Brett shares the happy news and explains that they always shared the same heart for wanting a family. He added:

I love knowing that we get to give this little one an amazing life, and I just can’t wait for the future ahead of us as a family. We are so blessed!

The couple knew that they were expecting the first child in early February after his wife decided to take a pregnancy test after they had flown to Las Vegas to spend quality time with their friends and family.

Taylor recalled the moment and claimed that she was in shock when she read positive. She could not believe what she saw. She was extremely happy that she started crying happy tears.

Taylor added:

Brett and I hugged, kissed and talked for hours about how long we had been wanting this and how excited we are to become parents.

Thirty-one years old Taylor said that her husband would be an excellent father whether he be at home or on the road.

Speaking with PEOPLE, Taylor revealed that her husband is so good with children and will be an incredible dad.

Though there are still months away for the arrival of their children, they already share a deep affection for their first child.

Brett and Taylor got engaged in February 2018 and got married on November 3, 2018, in Palm Desert, California.
