Bonnie Lythgoe is a former British dancer, producer and also director as well. She directed numerous theater productions such as a musical comedy stage production, Pantomimes, designed for family entertainment.
Currently, Lythgoe is single after she divorced her first husband, Nigel Lythgoe in 2010. With Nigel, she has two children Kristopher Lythgoe and Simon Lythgoe.
Early life and Career
Bonnie Lythgoe was born as Bonita Lythgoe on August 3, 1950, in England, United Kingdom. She belongs to white ethnicity and holds an English nationality.
Lythgoe was pa s sionate about acting and dancing since her childhood days. And later she turned her interest into her career.
In the year 1969, Lythgoe auditioned for the BBC’s Young Generation dance troupe and met her ex-husband, Nigel Lythgoe. However, after Nigel became a choreographer, he dismissed Bonnie from the troupe.
Later, Bonnie worked as a producer and director in various theaters including Pantomimes. She also worked as a choreographer for a dance production at the West End Theater.
Bonnie choreographed the 2006 Christmas version of Peter Pan along with Henry Winkler, in Wimbledon and Cinderella which starred Patrick Duffy.
Besides these producing and directing, Lythgoe has also judged the American reality televised dance competition show, So You Think You Can Dance. Even she has served as one of the judges on So You Think You Can Dance Australia before its cancellation in July 2010.
These shows even won seven Primetime Emmy Awards for Outstanding Choreography and also won nine Emmy Awards as well.
Moreover, Lythgoe participated as a contestant on the second seasons of the Australia version of I’m the Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here!.

Bonnie Lythgoe married to English television, producer as well as a film director, Nigel Lythgoe who judges dance competition and also a former dancer and choreographer.
The duo first met while working for the same dance group called Young Generation dance troupe. Eventually, they began dating and got married in 1974.
The couple together is blessed with two children, Kristopher Lythgoe and Simon Lythgoe. However, after being for almost thirty-six years together, they separated in 2007 and divorce was finalized in 2010.
Currently, Lythgoe is single and involves in various charity shows including Olivia Newton-John’s Cancer and Wellness Centre.
