Billy Gierhart

Billy Gierhart aka Bill Gierhart is an American television director and former Steadicam operator. He is best known for his Steadicam work on TV series like  Pacific Blue, Huff, Swingtown and The Shield. Some of his popular directorial ventures include Lone Star, Terriers, The Chicago Code, and Sons of Anarchy among others.

Billy Gierhart was born in the United States of America. He started his Hollywood journey in 1997 and to date, he has been a s sociated with a number of films and TV series.

In 2008, he directed the episode of Sons of Anarchy entitled Hell Followed. The following year, he was again approached for the sixth episode of season 2, since then he directed one or two episode of Sons of Anarchy till its final season, 2014.

Gierart directed few episodes of popular AMC series, The Walking Dead such as "Cherokee Rose", "Triggerfinger", "Sick", "Made to Suffer", "Crossed", "The Same Boat". He earned OFTA Television Award in the "Best Direction in a Drama Series"  for The Walking Dead.
