The network confirmed the tragic news releasing a statement writing:
Our hearts go out to the McGee family following the loss of husband and father Bernie McGee. Our thoughts are with them during this difficult time.
Bernie is survived by his wife Paige McGee and his four children.
As per GoFundMe page set up for his memorial fund, Bernie fell sick while riding a bike and later pa s sed away because of heat stroke/ heart attack. He died at St. Dominic Hospital in Jackson, Mississippi.
According to the fundraiser, Bernie and wife Paige loved each other and their children unconditionally.
Bernie and Paige, who was just beginning to get everything back together again after losing everything to a house fire, had to face the worst sudden devastation.
