Baseball Player Roy Halladay Had A Tragic Death In A Plane Crash

The former Toronto Blue Jays' pitcher Roy Halladay died in a tragic plane crash off the coast of Florida yesterday (8 Nov.).

Halladay had been flying the ICON A5 recreational aircraft, which has been involved in two other crashes since it went on sale in 2014.

According to the officials in Pasco County, Roy's plane plummeted into the Gulf of  Mexico and killed him. The National Transportation Safety Board spokesperson revealed that the agency had been investigating the crash and had sent an investigator to Clearwater, Florida.

Roy's crash on Wednesday afternoon was the second fatal crash with the ICON A5 while previously the plane's head designer, John Murray Karkow, and the company's director of engineering, Cagri Sever died in a crash in California back in May.

The editor-in-chief of Flying Magazine has suggested that the intended low-altitude flying for the ICON A5 might be a possible reason for the crash.

In the new video obtained by TMZ shows an aggressive and reckless flight pattern at high speed and extremely low altitudes and the additional footage shows the floating wreckage after the crash.
