Guy Benson graduated from the Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University in 2007 and started working as a producer of The Sandy Rios Show. He hosted his own Sunday night radio program, The Guy Benson Show between 2008 and 2015 on AM 560 WIND and AM 1260 WWRC.

Benson served as a political editor at Townhall.com in 2010 where he had been writing columns since 2008.
