Guy Benson is an American journalist and political pundit best known as a contributor for Fox News Channel. He serves as a political editor of Townhall.com and is a conservative talk radio personality. He is also the author and has written many books so far. He has worked as a reporter for an NPR station in South Florida and has worked as a broadcaster.

Guy Benson’s career

Guy Benson graduated from the Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University in 2007 and started working as a producer of The Sandy Rios Show. He hosted his own Sunday night radio program, The Guy Benson Show between 2008 and 2015 on AM 560 WIND and AM 1260 WWRC.

Benson served as a political editor at Townhall.com in 2010 where he had been writing columns since 2008. He also worked for other sites including Hot Air, Big and National Review Online’s Media Blog. He has served as a regular guest and substitute host on The Hugh Hewitt Show and appears frequently on cable news network like Fox News and CNBC as a guest.

Benson published his first book End of Discussion: How the Left’s Outrage Industry Shuts Down Debate, Manipulates Voters, and Makes America Less Free (and Fun) together with coauthor Mary Katharine Ham in 2015. It was a book about a critique of political correctness in politics, media, and culture.

Benson’s early life

Guy Benson was born in Saudi Arabia. He spent most of his childhood in Ridgewood, New Jersey. He was admitted to Ridgewood High School and was engaged to broadcasting work since his school days. He used to broadcast sports on a local channel.

He earned his bachelor’s degree from Northwestern University and served in broadcasting and hosting a political talk show for the campus radio station, WNUR.
