An Arizona man, Eldon McInville has been arrested in the accidental shooting of six years old daughter as authorities have confirmed.
As per the police statement, the little girl got critically injured while her father was teaching her gun safety. After the incident, Eldon was charged with "child abuse and aggravated a s sault". The police officer was called to his home in response to a shooting on Thursday, April 25.
The girl who was shot was injured in the abdomen and faced months of recovery.

He stated that when he loaded the weapon he was seated on the floor of the bedroom and that when he went to stand up he slipped and fell and somehow the gun went off.
According to the police officer, the 26 years old father has recently purchased the shotgun.
Eldon also told the police officer that he was cleaning it for the first time and was also researching on YouTube and Google about how to load it.
According to a Fox 10 Phoenix report, Eldon requested the judge for his release while he appeared on a court on Friday, April 26 so that he can help his family members at this needy moment.
His bail was set in cash $50,000 which he didn't post as of Saturday.
