Anthony Hopkins Hopes For His Third Emmy For HBO Drama Series Westworld

The famous Welsh actor Philip Anthony Hopkins is pretty hopeful for his third Emmy this year. The two times Emmy winner and three times nominee is waiting for the award ceremony; going to be held on 17th of September 2017 at Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles.

Anthony is nominated for the Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series for his excellent performance in Westworld; a science fiction thriller television series- created by Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy; aired on HBO. Sterling K. Brown, Bob Odenkirk, Matthew Rhys, Liev Schreiber, Kevin Spacey, and Milo Ventimiglia are the other nominees for the award this year.

 

Anthony played as Robert Ford, the founder and creative director of Westworld in the series. Anthony won his first Emmy for Outstanding Lead Actor in The Lindbergh Kidnapping Case. Five years later he grabbed his second Emmy for The Bunker.

He has also got the Emmy nomination for two more times for The Hunchback of Notre Dame in  1982, and for Great Expectations in 1990, however, he was unable to grab the award these times. 

He is pretty hopeful for his third Emmy this year and looking to his performance; the 79-year-old actor deserves the award this time.
