Amie Harwick, a popular Hollywood therapist who was previously engaged to Drew Carey, was killed on Saturday, February 15, in her Hollywood Hills home, the LAPD confirmed in a press release. She was 38.

Police arrived at the scene after receiving a radio call from a woman, who was screaming, at 1:16 a.m. A male roommate told the officials Amie was being a s saulted inside her home.

The man said he jumped a wall and reached neighboring residences to call for help.

Police found Amie on the ground beneath a balcony unresponsive and "gravely injured." She had "significant injuries consistent with a fall."

The LAPD transported Amie to a local hospital.

The police department found evidence that her ex-boyfriend Gareth Pursehouse entered her home and left after the incident.

Pursehouse, 41, was arrested on suspicion of murder on Saturday. As per the report, Amie previously had a restraining order against him but it expired.

Amie, who is a Hollywood therapist and former Playboy model, gained recognization for her relationship with actor Drew Carey, 61. The two started dating in mid-2017 and later in January 2018, they got engaged. They called it quits in November 2018.
