Amazon Head Roy Price Resigns After Sexual Harassment Accusation

The Amazon Studios head Roy Price has resigned after Isa Hackett, an executive producer on drama series "The Man the High Castle',' alleged him of sexual hara s sment. After his resignation on Tuesday, the Amazon Studio said it had accepted the resignation from Price.

An Amazon Studios representative confirmed Price's departure on Tuesday- which came less than a week after he was placed on unpaid leave following accusations made by Isa Hackett.

Hackett said that he made lewd remarks and unwanted advances in 2015. She said in a statement, "I'm pleased Amazon is taking steps to address the issues."

She added, "An important conversation has begun about the need to create a culture in our industry which values respect and decency and rejects the abuse of power and dehumanizing treatment of others."
