Alberto Zaccheroni started his managerial Career at the relatively young age of 30 from the team Cesenatico. Spending two seasons in this club, he began to coach the team of Riccione. In 1887, he joined with Boca San Lazzaro for a season making him move to Baracca Lugo in 1988. He spent two years managing this club making his move to Venezia in 1990. He moved to Bologna for a season in 1993 thenafter coached the team of Cosenza in 1994 for a season. He then signed with Udinese in 1995. His career made a boost after he joined at Udinese. He led the team to place third in the league and qualified for the UEFA Cup. His career thus began to be stabilized.
In 1998, after retiring from Udinese, Alberto signed the contract with the Italian giants AC Milan. The start of Zaccheroni with AC Milan was nice but later the seasons became less unsuccessful so he was replaced in the club. He joined Rome-based club Lazio in 2001 after being jobless for couple of months. His management at Lazio was full of critics leading him to join the Italian Club Inter - onale for a season in 2003. The president of Inter - onale was not impressed by his abilities thus he was again replaced. Alberto became jobless for the following two seasons until he was called upon by English Club Torino. The team had a good start but later suffered from the worrying sequence of six consecutive defeats which made Alberto to be sacked again. Staying three seasons without having job, Alberto Zaccheroni was called upon by Juventus in 4 months contract. After the end of the contract with Juventus, he was appointed as the new manager of the Japan National Football Team. He had a good start and career with Japan. He led the Japanese team to win the 2011 AFC Asian Cup and 2013 EAFF East Asian Cup. Also, he led the Japanese Football Team to qualify in 2014 World Cup in Brazil.
