Actress Lindsay Lohan's Father Michael Lohan's Wife Kate Major Files For Divorce

Michael Lohan and Kate Major call it quits.

The 58-year-old television personality and father of aspiring actress Lindsay Lohan, Michael and his wife of four years, Major's relationship has officially ended after she filed for divorce in a Florida court on Wednesday, Septemeber 5.

In the doc u ments obtained by The Blast, Kate, 35, called her relationship with her estranged husband "irretrievably broken."

Kate has reportedly asked for the primary custody of their children. The couple shares two children; Landon Lohan, 5, and Logan Lohan, 3. However, she has asked for the joint legal custody of their children.

In a recent chat with The Blast, Lohan told The Blast about his relationship with his wife,

Kate and I went to a mediation attorney to work out the terms of the divorce but her lawyer pulled a fast one and went behind my back

He continued,

I guess he wants publicity and to make money. Isn’t that always the case? After all, he’s doing it for nothing and asking for legal fees from me. Hmmmm! Case and point!

Michael and Major, who got engaged in April 2010 tied the knot in October 2014. In 2015, the couple lost the custody battle of their two children to Lohan's mother Marilyn.
