A Town in Brazil Where More than 300 Women are Looking for Men to Get Married

A Brazilian town in south-east Brazil,  Noiva do Cordeiro, has more than 300 women living with few men.most of the women are aged between 20 and 35 years old.

Due to few men in the town, women are being married to same men. the town has been cut off from the outer world for centuries and they are renownedly famous for their beauty.

The town lies 300 miles north of Rio de Janerio and is solely governed and populated by women. Most of them are not married and are aged between 16 to 30. The women here make the rules and make most of the financial decisions. They also help in building the houses and tilling the land.

Unknown to the outer side of Brazil, the town grabbed much attention after reports of the women searching for husband went viral. The news sparked the interest of men all around the globe.  A resident of the town, Nelma Fernandes, in talks with a newspaper said:

Here, the only men we meet are either married or related to us. I haven't kissed a man for a long time. We all dream of falling in love and getting married.

Responding to her statement thousands of men all around the world have expressed their desire to meet her and get married.
