A list of Journalists who have left Fox News between 2015 and 2017. Why did they leave? Details

A plethora of journalists left Fox News Network from 2015-2017. While some were fired others left the network on their own due to rampant sexual hara s sment cases. Many companies also have pulled advertisements from the network.

Thanks to President Trump's supporters and the president himself who credits the journalists and network in his tweets and speeches Fox News is still doing pretty okay.

Today we talk about journalists who have left FNN from 2015-2017.

Journalists Who Were Fired by Fox News Network

1. Bill O'Reilly

Bill O'Reilly, was a Fox News anchor and political commentator before he was fired by Fox News on April 19, 2017, amidst numerous sexual hara s sment allegations leveled against the host.

In the beginning of May, The New York Times' reported that five women had received payments amounting to around $13 million in exchange for agreeing not to pursue litigation about accusations related to sexual hara s sment, from Fox, Bill O'Reilly, and Roger Ailes. That led to advertisers pulling out from Bill O'Reilly's show The O'Reilly Factor which created pressure on the network to let the host go.

Bill O'Relly was famous from his show The O'Reilly factors which had around 3 million regular viewers per episode. 

2. Bob Beckel

On May 19, 2017, The Five co-host Bob Beckel was fired from the Fox News after he made intensive remarks against an African-American employee. He was also fired from his previous job when made racist remarks to an employee there.

3. Stacey Dash

Stacey Dash joined Fox News in May 2014 and began working as a contributor. In 2015 December 7, She made remarks about President Obama's address regarding terrorism that took place the day before, suggesting the president wasn't doing anything about it.

 

Due to such unprofessional behavior, she was suspended without pay for two weeks.  On January 21, 2017, Fox announced her contract would not be renewed. 

List of Journalists Who Resigned From Fox News Network

1. Megyn Kelly

Megyn Kelly, who came to the height of her career during the 2016 Presidential Election season has come out and slammed the Network for sexual hara s sment many times after leaving the network, she's even mentioned the events in her book. Kelly left  Fox News Network in January 2017 to join NBC News.

Megyn Kelly cited lack of time for her family due to her scheduling at Fox as the major reason for her departure from Fox News. However, she later came out and said it was sexual hara s sment from Network's Chief Roger Ailes that led many other women including herself to leave the station. She was popular for her show Sunday Night with Megyn Kelly. 

2. Gretchen Carlson

Gretchen Carlson left Fox News in early July of 2016. She was one of the first women to come out against sexual hara s sment in the network. She filed a lawsuit alleging Roger Ailes made sexual advances toward her and then ended her career after she turned him down.

She was removed from 'Fox&Friends' in 2013 after she complained about indecent behavior from co-host Steve Doocy, and was moved to an afternoon program to diminish her presence on the network. 

3. Greta Van Susteren

Greta Van Susteren worked in Fox's primetime programs from 2002 to 2016. She left the Fox in September 2016.

While leaving Fox, she told that she was not feeling at home in Fox for many years. She ended up joining NBC.

4. Andra Tantaros

Andra Tantaros, the host of shows 'The Five and Outnumbered sued Fox News in August 2016. She claimed that she approached Fox News executives about Roger Ailes sexually hara s sing her in 2015 who apparently didn't do anything about it.

Andra also claimed that Bill O'Reilly, Dean Cain, and Scott Brown made inappropriate comments about her and that Brown and Cain touched her without her consent.

5. George Will

From 2013- 2017, George Will was a contributor at Fox News. He has an ongoing feud with O'Reilly, primarily about leaving the Republican party during the 2016 election.  He left the Fox in May 2017 and joined MSNBC and NBC
