Documentary Filmmaker Jennifer Jarosik Sues Russell Simmons Of Rape And Claims For $5 Million

One more woman to accuse Russell Simmons!!!

The 37-year-old doc u mentary filmmaker Jennifer Jarosik has accused the Hip-Hop mogul Russell in a federal lawsuit on Wednesday, 24 January of raping her in his Hollywood Hills home in 2016.

The accusation from the filmmaker has come after around a dozen of women came forward alleging Russell of rape and sexual misconduct in last three decades where three women claimed Russell had raped them.

Jarosik became the 15th woman to accuse Simmons of sex crimes-her attorney filed the lawsuit in Beverly Hills on Wednesday.

According to the court doc u ments, Simmons invited Jarosik to his home in 2016 around ten years after they became friends. Jarosik reached his home in August 2016 to talk about a doc u mentary she had been making. She has alleged in her lawsuit that Russell proposed her for sex and when she declined, he pushed her onto his bed.

Simmons allegedly hit her in the head and lumped over her. As per the lawsuit, Jarosik tried to slip off of him but lay helpless as Simmons proceeded to rape her. The incident left Jarosik sore, lame, disabled, and disordered both physically and emotionally.

Jarosik has claimed $5 million in punitive damages as well as unspecified damages. Simmons has responded Jarosik's allegation and released a statement where he said, 

I look forward to having my day in court - where, unlike the court of public opinion, I will have the ability to make use of fair processes that ensure that justice will be done and that the full truth will be known,

The former Victoria's Secret model Keri Claussen Khalighi was the first person to allege Simmons of sexual hara s sment.
