A Google Software Engineer Found Dead In Google's Chelsea Headquarter
- A 22-year-old Google employee was found dead in its NYC office on Friday, 7th December.
- The man identified as Scott Krulcik was found unconscious on his desk on the sixth floor of the company's Chelsea headquarters.
- The first responders gave him CPR but it didn't avail and he was pronounced dead at the scene.
- He started working in Google as an intern in May 2016 while he was still attending Carnegie Mellon University.
A 22-year-old Google employee was found dead inside Google's New York City office on Friday, 7th December.
Scott Krulcik was found unconscious on the sixth floor of the company's Chelsea headquarters at around 9 on Friday evening.
The Emergency Medical Service workers pronounced him dead at the scene. The NYPD has been investigating the case where they said after the preliminary test that there were no signs of physical trauma. Moreover, they said the death didn't appear suspicious.
Krulcik's body has been sent to the city medical examiner's office for an autopsy. Police reported that the Saratoga Springs, NY-native Krulcik did not have any medical complications or substance abuse problem.
The New York Times reported the boy's neighbors were shocked to know about his death. One resident said,
Oh my gosh. That's so sad. I ran into him from time to time in the hallway. He looked just like he did in his photos. Such a nice young, vibrant man.
Another neighbor said he lived on the fifth floor with a roommate who also works in Google. As per Krulcik's Linkedin account, he joined Google as a software engineering intern in May 2016 while he was still attending cla s ses at Carnegie Mellon University.
