One person was killed and three were injured in a shooting at the Chabad of Poway Synagogue near San Diego, California, the San Diego County Sheriff Department reported

The tweet confirmed one 19-year-old man was taken into custody on suspicion of connection with the attack.
Walter Vandivort, who lives near the synagogue told NYTimes that he heard gunshots when he was inside his home.
Mayor Steve Vaus said the shooting that happened on the last day of Pa s sover is a possible hate crime. Bill Gore, San Diego County Sheriff said the three injured; a girl and two men were in the Palomar Medical Center in Poway with no life-threatening injuries.
