Rest in Peace! Robert Conrad, an American film and television actor and singer, best known for his appearance in 'The Wild, Wild West' has pa s sed away, his family confirmed. He was 84.

A spokesperson, Jeff Ballard, for the family announced the tragic news saying that the family is saddened by his pa s sing.

Ballard said,

He lived a wonderfully long life and while the family is saddened by his pa s sing, he will live forever in their hearts.

Born on March 1, 1935, Conrad pa s sed away just a little less than a month before his 85th birthday.

As for his cause of death, Conrad died of heart failure in Malibu, California.

Conrad was among the actors who was employed by Warner Bros. He rose to fame after playing the role of Tom Lopaka on the ABC drama series, Hawaiian Eye.

He has since appeared in dozens of films and television shows such as Jingle All the Way, More Wild Wild West, Palm Springs Weekend, Wrong Is Right, The D.A. and Assignment Vienna.

In 1965, Conrad was cast as Capt. James West in the CBS comedy series, The Wild, Wild West. He appeared on the show until 1969, alongside late actors Ross Martin and Michael Dunn.

Conrad, who was previously married to Joan Kenlay (1952–1977) and LaVelda Fann (1983–2010), is survived by seven children Nancy, Shane, Christian, Kaja, Joan, Camille and Chelsea.
