Actress and producer Denise DuBarry has died. The famous Shoot the Hero actress pa s sed away on Saturday 23rd March at the age of 63.

Her husband, William Hay confirmed the sad news revealing she died at UCLA Medical Center in LA after a long battle with a deadly fungus.

Denise, who was also the president of Palm Springs Women in Film and Television rose to fame after working in famous films including Oscar-winning 1979 movie Being There and 1986's Monster in the Closet.

Further, she gained broader media attention after she portrayed nurse Samantha Greene Moore on Black Sheep Squadron in the 70s. Her notable soap opera presence was in The Love Boat and Days of Our Lives.

Talking about her recent involvements, she produced Do It or Die in 2017 and in 2019, she made Walk to Vegas.

Besides being a film star, DuBarry was also a businesswoman. More precisely, she was named Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the year in 1998 and two years later, the Response Magazine inducted her in the list of 21 People Leading Us Into the 21st Century.

Besides her husband, DuBarry is survived by her four children with him; Kyle Hay, Whitney Hay, Adam Hay, and Samantha Hay; parents Pete and Betty DuBarry and sisters Diana, Audrey and Suzanne.
