Actress Rachael Leigh Cook's 15-year-long marriage to husband Daniel Gillies has come to an end. The Perception actress and The Originals actor announced their split in a joint statement on Thursday, 13th June.
Cook and Gillies said that they mutually decided to end their marriage. They released the statement on their respective Instagram that read:
With deep gratitude for every year, we have spent together and the thousands of beautiful memories shared, we have mutually decided to separate as a couple.
It further said,
The decision isn't one we have come to easily or lightly. We love and respect each other as parents, people, and artists and look forward to maintaining the best parts of our relationship for many years to come.

Cook, 39, tied the knot with Gillies, 43, in August 2004 after just a few months long relationship. The ex-lovebirds welcomed two children; Charlotte Easton, 5, and son Theodore Vigo Sullivan, 4 together.
