Actors Louise Thompson Engaged With Boyfriend Of Two Years, Ryan Libbey

The Made in Chelsea stars got engaged after around two years of dating. The lovebirds, both 28, announced the news with OK! Magazine, where they revealed Libbey popped the question during a romantic Los Angeles getaway for his birthday on 4th August.

The actress told the magazine that she cried for three days after Ryan got down to one knee. Thompson said,

I'm still shell-shocked. I've been crying solidly for three days. It's the most exciting thing that's ever happened to me in my entire life.

She continued,

Ryan and I have known that we want to spend the rest of our lives together for quite a long time. I love him more and more every day, which sounds so cliched, but it's the truth.

Previously, Thompson jokingly told her boyfriend that she would find someone else if he didn't propose her this year but Ryan told the magazine that he had been planning the moment for four months.

Louise described how Ryan proposed while they were hiking on his birthday. She said she didn't want to go on a hike but Ryan took her there saying there was more birthday wish he wanted before asking her to marry him. She said,

He dropped to one knee and opened the box. I had to catch my breath because I thought I was going to faint.

The pair met in 2016 and they started seeing each other after Ryan joined the E4 TV show. She started dating Ryan in less than three months after her split from her ex-beau Alik Alfus.
