The couple, who are married since 2013, announced the happy news in a joint statement to Us magazine which reads:

This is the most amazing feeling ever! We can't believe we are going to be parents-we are already so in love with our baby.

They continued,

We are ready for this new adventure and we know it will bring us closer together. God has blessed us again, and this time, we are going as strong as our baby's heartbeat!

The reality star, Russ Mayfield took to his Instagram on Wednesday, 25th July to announce the happy news where he shared a snap showing him reading Dad's Guide to Pregnancy on a bed while Paola sat beside him eating a cookie. "We are thrilled to announce that we have a little one on the way!", Russ wrote alongside the photo.

Earlier in the season, the actress revealed they suffered a miscarriage on an episode o the hit TLC series 90 Day Fiance: Happily Ever After? In an emotional interview, Paola said,

A couple of weeks before traveling to Colombia, I found out pregnant. And two days after had to go to the emergency room and I had [a] miscarriage.

She added,

The happiness I felt when I found out I was pregnant was the happiness I was looking for my whole life.

She also explained the doctors suggested that her miscarriage was possibly due to having an O-negative blood. Some researches show women having O-negative blood group can conceive a baby, but the missing Rh-factor in the blood possesses a risk for miscarriage.

Us Weekly reported the miscarriage caused a rift in their relationship, with Paola accusing the Oklahoma-native engineer and actor of not discussing their loss and being there for emotionally. Russ, in return, blamed his wife for shutting him out and not wanting to talk about the miscarriage.
