17 Years Old Red Gerard Wins Gold for US at 2018 Winter Olympics

A young snowboarder, red Gerard, 17, made the USA proud at the 2018 winter Olympics in Pyeongchang, South Korea.

Gerard managed to win the first gold medal of the 2018 Olympics for team USA.

Initially, Gerard performed at the last stand before making it to the finals. He pulled out some unique moves receiving a score of 87.16 from the judging panel. He made a record of the youngest American ever to win a gold medal in snowboarding.
As he received his gold for his outstanding performance, his fans took on Twitter to praise and accolade his achievements. In a series of tweets, they tweeted:

It was earlier reported that Gerard started playing with snowboards at the age of 2. Ahead of the games, he spoke to media regarding his plans for his family and siblings. He was quoted saying:

I can just maybe go out with them and have a nice dinner — nice and easy.

Later after his victory, in a press conference, Grenard was quoted saying :

I’m pretty sure I saw a video of them shotgunning beers at 8:30 a.m. So I’m pretty sure they are doing just fine.
