Patricia Lynn 'Trisha' Yearwood, an American country music singer/actress and author, is popular for her songs and musical performances. She is a member of the Grand Ole Opry and was introduced into the Georgia Music Hall of Fame in 2000. 

She rose to fame with her debut single "She's in Love with the Boy" in 1991, which became her first #1 single and was featured on her self-titled debut album. 

She has sold more than 15 million albums worldwide and has won three Grammy Awards, three Country Music Association Awards, two Academy of Country Music Awards, an American Music Award, and a Pollstar Industry Award for touring.

Trisha Yearwood was born on September 19, 1964, and her birth name is Patricia Lynn "Trisha" Yearwood. She was born in Monticello, Georgia, United States. And her parents are Gwendolyn and Jack Howard Yearwood.

Her mother was a schoolteacher and her father was a local banker. Her nationality is American. Trisha’s ethnicity is white and she belongs of Native American descent. She has a sister named Beth Bernard.

Trisha Yearwood attended Young Harris College and she received an a s sociate degree from there. Later, she joined the University of Georgia and in 1985 she was transferred to Belmont University in Nashville. She earned graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in business administration from the college in 1987.

She also appeared in Dr. Quinn and Medicine Woman (1994). She has also acted in the television series JAG and Nashville. Her co-star from Nashville's, Clare Brown married her boyfriend  Brandon Robert Young in October 2017. 

Trisha Yearwood has also won several awards for her singing; she has won Academy of Country Music Awards in the category of Top New Female Vocalist (1991) and Top Female Vocalist (1997).
