Robert Pine was born on 10th July, 1941 in Granville Whitelaw Pine in New York City, New York, to parents, Virginia (née Whitelaw) and Granville Martin Pine. His father, Granville was a patent attorney. Pine comes from white ethnicity and holds an American nationality. Pine was always enthusiastic in acting because he used to watch a lot of movies. As time pa s sed by he realized that he had the talent too, thus he decided to take up an acting career.
Pine went on to be first seen in Gunpoint in 1966. In the same year he was seen in Out of Sight, Munster, Go Home, and The Young Warriors. He then went on to get roles in many movies.
