In 2011, she made her debut in acting career from the drama film Higher Ground. Farming portrayed the character of the troubled adolescent named Violet Harmon in the movie. In 2013, she appeared in Jorge Dorado’s psychological thriller film named Mindscape. Following that, she appeared in the biological crime drama film Jamesy Boy.
The film received mostly unfavorable reviews. She then appeared in a horror comedy film The Final Girls in the lead role. Her next film was Share, where she portrayed a teenager who returns to school after her explicit sexual video goes viral. Taissa Farmiga subsequently co-starred a crime drama series the Wicked City of ABC.
Taissa Farmiga made her stage debut in 2016 from drama Buried Child. Her next drama was In a Valley of Violence. Again, in the same year, she returned in the episode Chapter 9 of American Horror Story: Roanoke.
