Ignacio Serricchio is an actor of Argentine-American nationality who has been known best for the role as Diego Alcazar in General Hospital. He is also recognized for his role of Alex Chavez in The Young and the Restless and his role in Witches of East End has been widely appreciated too.
Early life and education
He is a native of Buenos Aires, Argentina and was born on the 19th of April, 1982. When he was 11 years old, he moved from Lanus, Buenos Aires, Argentina to Mexico where he finished his high school. He again shifted to New York, when he was 18 years of age.
Serricchio was confused about his career, later he talked to his father and chose his career as an actor. He attended Loyola Marymount University, during the time he watched numerous plays as his way of studying.
Ignacio Serricchio is a graduate of the Syracuse University. He joined the cast of General Hospital in October 2004.
Career
His career began when he portrayed the role of a troubled youth named Diego Alcazar and this role of his was widely appreciated by his fans. The character was killed off on 2008 and he then appeared in the role of a missionary in Stats of Grace.
His another popular role was in the daytime soap named The Young and the Restless whereby he portrayed the role of detective Alex Chavez.
He played the role of Tommy Cole who was a medic during the second as well as appeared in the final season of the Lifetime drama series called Witches of East End.
Serricchio also appeared on the BET sitcom, Zoe Ever After playing the role of Miguel with Brandy Norwood. His tv show and movies roles have been appreciated widely by his fans across the world.
