Greta Van Susteren is a Sports journalist and commentator who was born in Appleton, Wisconsin, United States of America on  June 11, 1954. She was born amongst the three children to a judge father Urban Van Susteren and a housewife mother, Margery.

Susteren has an older brother and a younger sister, whom she grew up with at their home located in Appleton. Belonging to a political family, her sister was nominated for a US Senate candidate but failed to win.

Her brother is a journalist who has been working for a long time for Vermont Sunday Magazine. She is a Christian by religion and an American by nationality, belonging to white ethnicity.

Education

Susteren studied at the Xavier High School in Appleton from where she graduated in 1972. She then got enrolled at the University of Wisconsin–Madison where she studied economics as well as geography. After graduating from there in 1976, she studied Law at the Georgetown University Law Center from where she graduated in 1979, earning a Juris Doctor degree.

She was also awarded by Stetson Law School an honorary doctor of laws degree. She is a very educated woman, talented and intelligent as well.

Greta Van Susteren's Career

Greta started her career as a journalist for the Simpson murder case, which was being covered by CNN. The case got much publicity and since she covered it almost every day, became famous just like that. She was quickly promoted as the co-host of the TV show Proof and The Point.

Then in 2002, Susteren moved to FOX News after many news channels bided for her. She has been hosting her show since then, named On the Record w/ Greta Van Susteren. She exits from Fox News in 2016 September. She has also covered a lot of major stories and headlines that mark a new milestone in her successful career.

She left NBC and joined MSNBC in 2016.

Susteren recently talked about the chemical attack on Syria with the U.N. amba s sador, Nikki Haley, and said, "We have not heard much from Trump on Russia,' Why?"
