Demi Lovato is a singer/ actress, and philanthropist as well. She made her debut as a child actress in Barney & Friends. She is best recognized for starring in the Disney Channel's television film, Camp Rock.
Early Life and Education
Demi Lovato was born on 20 August 1992. She was born in New Mexico of U.S.A. Her full name is Demetria Devonna Lovato. Her father‘s name is Patrick Martin Lovato and her mother name is Dianna Lee Hart.
Her mother was a former Cowboys Cheerleader. Her older sister name is Dallas while her younger maternal half-sister name is Madison De La Garza. She has an Irish, Native American, Jewish, and Portuguese ethnicity.
Although she was born in Mexico she grew up in Dallas, Texas. She was quite interested in music and acting from an early age. She played the piano when she was 7 and later learned guitar at the age of 10.

Demi Lovato started her acting career after she appeared Barney and Friends in 1999. She was also seen in a movie Camp Rock. In the same year, she signed Hollywood Records to release her album Don’t Forget which later got certified as GOLD.
She also played in series Sonny with a Chance. With her second album Here We Go Again she was rising up in the singing sector too. Her third album was Unbroken. She has given a concert in many places in the promotion of her album.
During 2007 and 2008 she was seen on series As the Bell Rings. She also got a chance to act in Camp Rock and Sonny With a Chance. Apart from just acting in the movie she also gave her voice in some movies. In 2010, she was seen in Camp Rock 2. In 2010, she enters a treatment for physical and emotional issues after she punched back-up dancer Alex. In 2011 she completed her inpatient treatment and returned home.
She was addicted to cocaine and alcohol. She also became a contributing editor for Seventeen magazines. In 2011 she releaser her 3rd studio album Unbroken and got a huge response for it too.

In 2012, she was hired as a judge in American Version of The X Factor. Her fourth album was Demi which was released in 2013. She also released iBooks titled Demi. She also wrote a book which was released in 2013 and the book was named Staying Strong: 365 Days a year.
In 2013 she announced her Neon Lights Tour. She has also stepped in the field of Philanthropy. She was awarded Honorary Amba s sador of Education by the American Partnership for Eosinophilic Disorder.
She recorded with some other popular singers for the charity being involved with the environmental organization. She is also a spokesperson for the join the Surge Campaign.
She has supported DonateMyDress.org, Kids Wish Network, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and the City of Hope. She was awarded for her dedication as a mentor to teens and young adults with mental health challenges.

Demi is currently single but she was in a relationship with few Hollywood celebs previously. She dated Jonathan Fryar in 2007. Then, she started dating Cody Linley for 1 year until 2008 and separated from him.
She also dated Alex Deleon and Trace Cyrus for few months during the late 200s. In 2010, she began dating That 70 show star, Wilmer Valderrama and the couple was in a relationship for next six years. After, living together for six years, the couple separated in early 2017.
Then, Demi dated Guilherme “Bomba” Vasconcelos, an MMA Fighter from January to May 2017.
