Reality TV personality & former soccer player, Mark Wright, is well-known for his role on the British reality TV series, The Only Way is Essex. He is also known for his appearances on reality series, Mark Wright's Hollywood Nights.
Wright also competed in the 12th series of Strictly Come Dancing, finishing in fourth place with his partner Karen Hauer. He married English actress, Michelle Keegan after dated for couples of years.
Early life and education
Mark Wright was born as Mark Charles Edward Wright on 20th January 1987 in Buckhurst Hill, Essex, England. He belongs to white-British ethnicity and holds a British nationality.
Wright is born to reality start, Carol Wright, and Mark Wright Sr. He was raised along with his siblings, Natalya, Jessica, and Josh in Buckhurst Hill. He went to the local school at Buckhurst Hill.
Career
Mark Wright was a semi-professional footballer before involving in entertainment fraternity. As a youth, he played at the West Ham United, Arsenal, & Totten ham Hotspur. Later, Wright played for Soothed United.
Television
In the year 2010, Wright began his television journey with a British reality TV series; The Only Way is Essex. He left the show at the end of TV series and made a cameo appearance in the sixth series.
Later, Wright participated in the eleventh series of I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here! He ended the show as runner-up in November 2011. The following year, he co-presented the Take Me Out spin-off programmer Take Me Out: The Gossip for ITV2.
Wright also presents the reality show, Mark Wright's Hollywood Nights. Back in 2014, he runs his show, Party Wright Around The World which was aired on ITV2. He also presented CBBC's The Engineers from 2015 to 2017.
Other Activities
Wright is actively involved in a radio show as well. He presented "Club Cla s sics" in Heart Radio on Saturday evening since 2012. He was also a brand amba s sador of online retail giant, Littlewoods, & menswear line, Goodsouls.
For the first time in 2016, Wright participated in Soccer Aid and played for England where he scored a 3-2 victory. He was titled Man of the Match as well.
Personal life
Mark Wright is married to English actress as well as a model, Michelle Keegan, known for her portrayal as Tina McIntyre in Britain's longest-running series, Coronation Street. The pair first met in 2012 and eventually fell in love.
After dating a couple of years, the duo engaged on 9th September 2013 and then got married on 24th May 2015. They haven't planned for kids, however, as per the report, both of them are fond of children.
The couple is together since last five years & living a blissful life in London.
Previously, Wright dated English TV personality, model, and beautician, Lauren Goodger, a fellow member of TOWIE. The former pair started dating in 2001 and engaged in 2011.
Unfortunately, Wright called off their engagement because he claims Goodger cheated on him and in 2012, they ended their eleven years of long relationship.
