Forty-five years old Lynda Lopez is an American journalist. She served as a news anchor on shows like Good Day New York and Fox 5 Live. Lopez is also best known for being the younger sister of superstar singer and actress Jennifer Lopez.

Lynda Lopez was born on June 14, 1971, in The Bronx, New York City, New York, United States of America. She belongs to American nationality and her ethnicity is white.

Early life and Education

Lynda Lopez spent her amazing childhood in the South Bronx, New York City with her sweet family. She is the daughter of David Lopez, a computer specialist, and Guadalupe Rodriguez, a kindergarten teacher. She has two beloved and beautiful sisters, named Jennifer Lopez and Leslie Lopez. Lynda very much loved to her beloved sister Jennifer. 

Lynda Lopez's sister Jennifer Lopez is also an American singer, actress, dancer, fashion designer, author, and producer. During her childhood, she received her primary and secondary education from Preston High School in 1989. After that, she moved at the C.W. Post Campus of Long Island University. There she majored in Broadcasting and Communication.

Professional career

Moving to her professional career, Lynda Lopez began her career in radio broadcasting at WBAB and WLIR on Long Island for five years. After that, Lopez shifted a position as an entertainment correspondent for WPIX’s morning show.

At the beginning of 2000, Lynda Lopez began worked as a VH1 VJ for a short time with Kane and Rebecca Rankin. Lopez hosted a special in which she interviewed her sister Jennifer. Some of Jennifer Lopez’s music videos were played and her then-newest video named Feelin’ So Good.

Lynda Lopez became the host of Style Network’s GLOW in 2002, a cable entertainment reporter at in 2002. She also became a  DJ for WNEW-FM with her boyfriend Chris Booker. In October 2003, she moved WCBS-TV as a part-time correspondent after their show was canceled. After one year, she was named anchor of WCBS’ weekend morning show.

At the time, Lynda Lopez debuted as the weekend co-anchor on the News Corp-owned WWOR-TV’s My 9 Weekend News. Lopez was replaced from WNYW-TV’s Good Day New York by retired CNN Headline News anchor Christina Park.

Personal life and Affair

Moving to her personal life, Lynda Lopez is a married woman. Firstly, she was dated with Chris Booker, a television personality. They met at WNEW-FM in New York City in 2002, where they worked as co-hosts for the morning show together. They were often seen together in various public places and events. However, they separated for some reasons in 2005.

After that, Lynda Lopez began her dating with her second boyfriend Adam Goldfried. The couple has one daughter named Lucie Wren Lopez-Goldfried, who was born on August 28, 2008. She is currently believed to be single and is raising her child.
