Lauren Wendy Sanchez is an American news anchor, entertainment reporter, and media personality. She is also the co-host on KTTV Fox-11’s Good Day LA and the station’s Ten o’clock News. She was former weekend and special correspondent for Extra. 

Early life and Education

Lauren Sanchez completed her schooling from Albuquerque. After graduating from high school, she went to Los Angeles, where she moved EI Camino College in Torrance, California, where she wrote for the college newspaper, The Warwhoop.

Lauren Sanchez made to the dean’s list at EI Camino and was selected for a scholarship for the University of Southern California, where she majored in communications.

Professional career

Moving to her professional career, Lauren Sanchez began her career as a desk assistant at KCC-TV in Los Angeles. She clasped positions as an anchor and reporter at KTVK-TV in Phoenix before the moving the syndicated entertainment show Extra as a reporter.

After that, Lauren Sanchez moved to Fox Sports Net and worked as an anchor as well as a correspondent for the sports magazine Going Deep. She came back to KCOP-TV in 1999 to anchor UPN 13 News. In the meantime, she also worked as the entertainment reporting gig FOX 11’s 10 O’clock News on KTTV in Los Angeles.

Lauren Sanchez got the position of the host in FOX’s popular dancing competition So You Think You Can Dance. After that, she came back to Extra as weekend anchor and special correspondent and currently she works as a correspondent on Good Day LA.

Film Appearances

Lauren Sanchez has also made her appearances in many films like, ‘The Longest Yard’, ‘Fantastic Four’, ‘The Day After Tomorrow’, ‘Akeelah and the Bee’, ‘Batman Begins’, and ‘Fight Club’. She featured in the viral video campaign for The Dark Knight as Lydia Filander.

Personal life and Affair

Moving to her personal life, Lauren Sanchez is a married woman. She first dated Tony Kansas and has one a son named Nikko Gonzalez (February 12, 2001). She was engaged with actor Henry Simmons but got separated in 2003.

After that, Lauren Sanchez got married to Patrick Whitesell in August 2005. Her husband Patrick is an American talent agent and co-CEO of WWE, an entertainment and media agency.

They have two children among them; one is a daughter named Eleanor Patrick Whitesell (2008) and another is a son named Evan Whitesell (2006). ?
