Kym Johnson is an Australian professional ballroom dancer and television performer. She was born on August 4, 1976, in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. She resides in Sydney, NSW, Australia. Kym started dancing at the early age of 2 and began to focus her efforts on ballroom dancing only at the age of 13.

Australian native Kym Johnson’s first success as a dancer came in 1998 when she and her partner, Tomas Atkocevicious, placed second at the Australian Dancesport Championships. Similarly, she went to become the Australian Ballroom Champion, representing Australia in the international platform. However, Kym retired from the professional dancing in 2001 and continued performing on stage.

Gorgeous Kym Johnson became more familiar and popular to the Australian public, when she joined the Australian version of renowned TV show Dancing with the stars as a professional dancer.
